Both of these singers were big in country music in the 80's. In fact, one actually got her career started in the 70's as a teenager. They are Tanya Tucker and T.Graham Brown.

Tucker, still in her teens, was signed to Columbia Records in 1972. Her first top ten hit was was a song called "Delta Dawn." She quickly became a country star recorded several number one hit songs.

In fact in the late 80's she move to Capitol Records and had three number one songs, "I Won't Take Less Than Your Love," "If It Don't Come Easy," and "Strong Enough To Bend".

T.Graham Brown was on Capitol Records in the 80's at the same time Tanya Tucker was there.

Brown was riding high on the charts in 1986 with is debut album "I Tell It Like It Used To Be." Off that album was the number one song "Hell or High Water".

In the late 80's when Tucker had her three number one songs, Brown hit with his "Darlene" in 1988. It was also a year when both had some other problems.

Tucker had entered the Betty Ford Clinic for cocaine and alcohol addiction. Brown was having his own battle with alcoholism

In 1990, both of them got together are recorded the song "Don't Go Out." The song would reach the Top Ten.
