Are You a “Dog” Person or a “Cat” Person?

If you're thinking of giving a puppy or kitten to someone for Christmas there are a few personality traits that vary in who owns what. A poll of 200,000 people was taken recently by hunch.com which shows major differences in "dog" people vs."cat" people. The Reader's Digest article shows dog people are 15% more likely to be extroverts, while cat people are 11% likely to be introverts with 14% of them are more likely to cling to friends at a party. Musically, 36% of dog people will use a pop song as a ringtone. 18% of dog lovers are more likely to consider Paul McCartney their favorite Beatle. Of the cat people surveyed, 25% say George Harrison is their favorite of the Fab Four. Survey percentages show dog people appear more compassionate while cat people are better educated. The survey showed 11% of dog lovers say they'd support pet cloning and 17% of cat people are more likely to have completed a graduate degree. Despite all these differences in the pet owners, they did find that both dog and cat people talk to animals of all kinds(guilty!) and dislike animal-print clothing(Amen!).
