Bugs Bunny Says “What’s Up Doc” [VIDEO]
One of my favorite cartoon characters is Bugs Bunny. In fact I’m a huge Warner Bros, Merrie Melodies cartoon fan. I still laugh out loud today when I watch them.
On this day in 1940, Bugs made his debut in the Warner Bros. cartoon “A Wild Hare”. In that cartoon the public heard Bugs Bunny say for the first time, “What’s up doc?”.
It’s said that Bugs’ carrot chewing was influenced by movie star Clark Gable in the move “It Happened One Night”.
