A running of the bulls? In the United States? Find it kind of hard to believe, but officials in the Arizona town of Cave Creek have found themselves revoking a permit that would have sanctioned the event.

A running of the bulls isn't even a distant cousin to the American favorite Bull Riding. At least with Bull riding you are already mounted and tied to the wild animal, instead of chasing it down a crowded street. Or, I should say being chased down a busy bull filled street.

Peta wasn't really fond of the idea either, you know, all those bulls being bullied around by a bunch of hostile cowboys trying their best to run in their cowboy boots. Well, turns out that the running of the bulls in Cave Creek may run after all. The city has stepped in with their yellow caution lights saying there's not enough liability insurance, but since it's going to be run on private property, the event may go on as planned.

If the event does take place, domestic riding bulls will be used instead of the high powered, big horned fighting bulls they have in Italy. Either way, sounds like someone is gonna get bullied around.
