The Boot Campaign welcomes country music artist Curtis Grimes to its all-star line up of celebrity endorsers. By lacing up and posing in a pair of the Boot Campaign’s Give Back Combat Boots, Grimes is joining the campaign’s efforts to promote patriotism and awareness of veteran’s issues by encouraging Americans to get THEIR boots on. Proceeds from boots sales are used to back the Boot Campaign’s partner charities caring for the growing number of wounded military veterans. In four short years, Curtis Grimes has been a star college baseball pitcher, chased his dream of being a singer-songwriter, played hundreds of concerts all over Texas and the southwestern United States, and performed in front of millions on television. Grimes, a 25 year old from Gilmer, Texas, won the Austin leg of Kenny Chesney’s The Next Big Star contest, getting the opportunity to open for Chesney at the Frank Erwin Center during his Poets and Pirates tour.

In 2011, Grimes was asked to audition for the NBC Television show “The Voice”. He was then invited to Los Angeles to participate on the show and made it to the quarterfinals. The show, which was watched by over 15 million viewers during each episode, has opened even more doors for Curtis and he plans on taking advantage of every one of them. Grimes has extended his fan base as a regular fixture on the Texas music scene.
