First Hit Monday With Sugarland [VIDEO]

It's Monday, the first day of the week and it's time to take a look and listen to a major country music act and their first hit song.

Sugarland came out of Atlanta Georgia as a trio. Jennifer Nettles, Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall all had some success before getting together.

In 2002 they released an EP of demo songs that were available at their shows. After word got around about their live performances, they signed with Mercury Records.

Since then they became a duo when Kristen Hall left the group at the end of 2005. They have won multiple Grammy , CMA and ACM awards.
They have reached superstar status.

In 2004 they hit with "Baby Girl". It came off their debut album"Twice the Speed of Life", which it multi-platinum status.
