Now that Gloriana‘s sophomore album, ‘A Thousand Miles Left Behind,’ is complete (due to hitting stores on July 31), lead vocalist Tom Gossin can put all of his focus into his upcoming nuptials with his fiancee, Jaime Moffett.

The couple got engaged back in March, when Gossin surprised his girlfriend of 10 years by popping the question on their anniversary. Moffett of course said yes to her musical man when he pulled out a gorgeous ring, which he had custom-made at Giador in Nashville.

“They specialize in antique jewelry,” Gossin tells Taste of Country of the jewelry shop he chose for his blushing bride-to-be’s rock. “It’s 1920s European cut diamond set in platinum.”

The two are excited about their big day, which they are planning for October 2013, leaving them plenty of time to map out all the important details. Moffett, who currently resides in Georgia, is in the process of making Music City her permanent zip code, while Gossin continues his hectic touring schedule in preparation of his band’s album release. Once Moffett settles into their new home, the two will plan their engagement party that will lead up to the big day.

“Our scheduled stays so busy that I have to put [the wedding day] way in the future so I can have the proper wedding and honeymoon and all of that,” Gossin recently told E! News. “We’re really excited.”

But one detail that is set in stone and is non-negotiable is their music selection — mostly meaning what will not be playing at the ceremony or reception. “Before she would say yes to me, she said there’s no way you’re getting up and singing at our wedding,” Gossin reveals, laughing. “[She said] ‘don’t even think about it!’”

While he may not get the chance to show off his pipes on his big day, Gossin gets plenty of vocal time in on Gloriana’s new album. One of the album’s tracks is a tune called ‘Carolina Rose,’ which he co-wrote with James T. Slater about his future wife.

Congratulations to Tom and Jaime from those of us at Taste of Country — we will keep an eye on the mail for our invite!
