Lubbock City Parks And Recreation Keeping Kids Active This Summer

Pretty soon kids will be out of school for summer vacation. The big thing for parents is keeping your child active and not becoming a couch potato playing video games all day. The city Parks and Recreation folks are helping out.

Beginning Monday, April 2nd, people can sign up at a camp location that your child would like to attend.

Your child can attend for a week or the entire summer.

The camps feature everything from arts and crafts, swimming, field trips to bicycle safety and learning how to play tennis.
