Lubbock’s Benito’s Italian Cafe & Pizzeria Declares New Location Opening Date

A loved Lubbock Italian restaurant has finally announced when and where they are opening their new location at in Lubbock.

Just before noon on February 19th, 2024, Senor Chubby's made an official announcement that they will be closing their doors.

What is taking over the old Señor Chubby’s Mexican Bar & Grill location?

The new place that will be taking it over soon is called Benito's Italian Cafe & Pizzeria. Their current location in Lubbock is 608 Salem Ave, Lubbock, TX 79410 at Cactus Alley.
They will have a wide menu of options like fettuccine, ravioli, linguine, pizza, subs, soups, salads, seafood and much more.

They are currently open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. They just started working on their new location today with some paint and other changes.

The new location at Indiana and 98th Street will be opening this Monday, April 8th 2024 to the Lubbock community.
