I'm a classic movie buff and I love the Turner Classic Movie channel. Every once and a while they will have a festival featuring the movies of one particular movie star. Yesterday it was Marlon Brando.

Brando is one of my favorite actors of all time. So as I was watching, I came up with my top three Brando movies.

"Streetcar Named Desire", 1951. It was adapted from Tennessee Williams 1947 Pulitzer Prize winning play. Brandon starred in the play and recreated his Broadway role on screen.

"The Wild One",1953. It was the first movie to deal with outlaw motorcycle violence in America. It's said that the sale of black leather jackets skyrocketed after the movie came out.

"On The Waterfront",1954. A story dock workers under the thumb labor unions run by the mob. Brando plays a fighter who took a fall and regrets it, and finds he has other choices. The movie was nominated for 11 Academy Awards and Brando won for best actor, his first after being nominated three times before.
