Original Cricket Joe B. Maudlin Is Alive And Well [VIDEO]

Mark Twain was quoted as saying, "the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated". A member of Buddy Holly's band the Crickets, stand-up bass player Joe B. Maudlin could be saying the same thing.

According to an article by William Kerns in the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, fellow member of the Crickets Jerry "J.I." Allison stated,"I just talk to him(Joe B.)a few minutes ago and he is fine...".

Maudlin along with Allison and band member Sonny Curtis were all inducted recently into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland as the "Crickets"
