Patsy Cline House Open For Tours [VIDEO]
In January, 1957, when Patsy Cline competed and won Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts TV competition by singing "Walkin' After Midnight", she was living in a tiny two story frame house at 608 S. Kent Street in Winchester, Virginia. On August 2nd, that house will open to the public. A group in that town has created a nonprofit corporation which bought the home and fixed up the house where, except for a few years during her first marriage, Ms. Cline lived from 1948-57. Patsy's daughter, Julie Fudge, tells "The Buzz", "The fact that her music seems timeless brings a whole new group in every generation that keeps her alive". Here's that great song that caught the public's attention on Arthur Godfrey's television show all those years ago.
