If Rodney Atkins‘ ‘Just Wanna Rock ‘N’ Roll’ video, doesn’t put a smile on your face and lift the pressure of the world off your shoulders for a few minutes, you might want to check your pulse.

Atkins filmed the clip in Mississippi, documenting his day before taking the stage at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds. The music video, which was directed by Todd Cassetty, gives fans plenty of behind-the-scenes clips of the singer doing his thing. It’s definitely one made for the fans, who will soak it all up each rare glimpse at Atkins’ private moments.

‘Just Wanna Rock ‘N’ Roll’ takes the viewer through Atkins’ typical show day, including the soundcheck with his band, signing autographs prior to taking the stage — and even a little outdoor fun — when the singer hops on a motorcycle for a spin and plays cornhole outside of his bus. Atkins’ other “child, his parakeet, Misty, also makes a cameo.

The video’s final scenes are centered around the live performance, showing Atkins at his peak, which is bringing great country songs to fans night after night. The massive crowd in the video didn’t have to do much acting on their part, simply waving their arms to the music.

‘Just Wanna Rock ‘N’ Roll’ is the latest release from Atkins’ ‘Take a Back Road’ album, which has already spawned two other hit singles in ‘He’s Mine’ and the title track.
