It's St. Patrick's Day weekend and not only should you wear green but also lend your ears to a little Irish music. That'll be the fare at Triple J's Chophouse and Brew Company in the Depot District Saturday, March 17th. Roan Inish Damhsa (Irish Band) will be performing 7:30-9:30 p.m. And I'm betting you can get a little green beer while you're there.

The night before on Friday Aaron Collier will perform some acoustic rock sounds and at the Cactus Theater across the street, you can catch a production of the hilarious melodrama "Lucy and the Outlaw" on either Friday or Saturday night. It's pure family fare, complete with a villain who makes a perfect target for popcorn-throwing, and terrific music. You'll have a ton of fun!

Next Thursday continues the Irish theme at South Plains College's Tom T. Hall Production Studio. Their Spring Irish Music concert is set for 7 p.m. and it's free and open to the public. Lots of fun entertainment celebrating St. Patrick's Day, because after all, "everyone's a little bit Irish", right?

Get out the shamrocks, here's a taste of the sounds of the Irish Band performing at Triple J's Saturday night. Some of the patrons just might decide they want to try a little jig too.
