Mickey is our Adoption Dog of the day.  He is a solid white male boxer and has a full supply of energy to burn.  A big back yard would be ideal for this boy.  Due to his energy levels, small children might not be a good idea around him as he might have a tendency to knock them over by accident in his play.  He is not aggressive, just over joyous. Our lost pet of the day is an adult female St. Bernard mix maybe?  It is hard to guess the breed on this girl.  Regardless she was picked up by our officers from the cold on February 3rd on 114th street.  She is mostly white on the body with brown patches on her eyes and some black on her head as well.  If you know her owners, please let them know she is safe at the shelter and waiting on them to

Our adoption dog today is Arturo.  He is an young adult Old English Sheepdog mix.  We seized him and another dog on a cruelty warrant and the judge awarded custody to us.  He deserves a better home than he had so lets help him find that home.  Arturo is current on shots, and the $60 Adoption fee will cover his neuter and microchip. Our stray animal is another beautiful female cat today.  Jazzabell is a orange and white Tabby and she is wearing a purple heart shaped collar with her name and owner's phone number.  We have confirmed the phone number is an incorrect number for the owner.  Jazzabell looks to be pregnant so we would like to get her home before her due date. A Tag Team With Houdini And Licorice
Today's adoption spotlight falls on two small Chihuahua.  Houdini and Licorice have been together all of their lives.  They are bonded in a way twins are and it would be an injustice to separate them.  Both are just a year and a half old, micro chipped and current on shots.  They are not currently neutered but the small adoption fee of sixty dollars each covers the neuter.  More on Houdini and Lic
