Taylor Gives Mom “The Best Day”

It was a tune called "The Best Day". It's all about her childhood and how her mom and other members of her family served as a refuge for her during tough, emotional times. In the song, Taylor sings, "I don't know who I'm gonna talk to now at school, but I know I'm laughing on the car ride home with you. Don't know how long it's going to take to feel okay, but I know I had the best day with you today". Taylor says she wrote the song in the summertime without telling her mom, secretly recorded it and played it for her Christmas Eve, "She was crying her eyes out".
