Two For Tuesday With Willie Nelson And Norah Jones

On "two for Tuesday's" not only do I try to feature well known duos or duets, but also artists from different music genres that get together to make music. On this "two for Tuesday" is a Texas legend and another Texan by way of Brooklyn. Willie Nelson and Norah Jones.

Willie Nelson had recorded with everyone under the sun, from Ray Charles to Shania Twain and more.

He has written the country classics like "Crazy" for Patsy Cline and "Hello Walls" for Faron Young and more.

In 2003 he release an album called "Willie Nelson & Friends-Live & Kickin'".

On that album is a song called "Wurlitzer Prize (I Don't Want To Get Over You"). He sings the song with Norah Jones.

Norah is the daughter of India sitar player Ravi Shankar who became well known in the 60's. She grew up in Grapevine Texas and calls Willie Nelson her mentor.

You usually find Jones on the pop charts but she as delved into country with a couple of albums with her group "The Little Willies".

Jones and Nelson have done three Grammy nominated songs together, "Baby It's Cold Outside", "Dreams Come True" and the one mentioned earlier, "Wurlitzer Prize ( I don't Want To Get Over You)".
