Willie Nelson Sits “High” on the Charts on This Day in 1985 [VIDEO]

Today is Wednesday, July 13, 2011, but on this day 26 years ago the "red headed stranger" had the number one song in the land.

It was on this day back in 1985, Willie hit with a number one song called "Forgiving You Was Easy". It was on the album "Me and Paul", which was a tribute to Willie's longtime drummer Paul English. The album itself peaked at number three on the charts.

Willie Nelson continues to draw huge crowds to his concerts. In fact that was the case at Willie's party at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth this past fourth of July.
